In Kingdom Hearts 3 there are portals that you can unlock called Battle Gates.  If you are looking to unlock Battle Gates in Kingdom Hearts 3 you’re going to need to complete one big task and that’s completing the game’s main story.  Once you complete the main story in Kingdom Hearts you will be able to access these portals that will allow Sora and company to battle against tough enemies.

Once you’ve completed the main story in Kingdom Hearts 3 you will want to keep an eye out for blue orbs on the map.  These are the Battle Gates that you are looking for.  Completing these Battle Gates will vary in difficulty, but if you finish them you will get unique rewards that include items that can upgrade your weapons and secret reports which reveal more of the story for Kingdom Hearts 3.

There are Battle Gates located all across the game one you’ve finished the main story. There are 14 Battle Gates in all and each will give you a little bit more story as well as unique items.   To access these you’ll want to have completed the game so you won’t see these blue orbs that allow you to access the Battle Gates until you do so.

Once you do, just keep an eye out for these blue orbs to access the Battle Gates in Kingdom Hearts 3.  Below you will find a list of Battle Gate locations in the game and the rewards that you’ll get from completing them.

All Kingdom Hearts 3 Battle Gate Locations

Battle Gate 1: This Battle Gate portal will be in Olympus, at the Realm of the Gods.  If you complete this Battle Gate you’ll get the Fire Cufflink and Secret Report 1 as rewards

Battle Gate 2: The Battle Gate portal will be in Olympus, it can be found in the area behind Zeus. If you complete this Battle Gate you’ll get the Cosmic Belt+ and Secret Report 2 as rewards.

Battle Gate 3:  This Battle Gate portal can be found in Twilight Town close to the Old Mansion.  Your rewards will be the Evanescent Crystal and Secret Report 3.

Battle Gate 4:  There is another Battle Gate located in Toy Box near the Kid’s Store save point. The rewards for completion are the Megaelixer and Secret Report 4.

Battle Gate 5:  Another Battle Gate is located at Galaxy Toys on the first floor. Rewards are Thunder Cufflink and Secret Report 5.

Battle Gate 6:  Kingdom of Corona has a Battle Gate.  You’ll find it in the middle of the valley. Rewards for completion are the Illusory Crystal and Secret Report 6.

Battle Gate 7:  Kingdom of Corona has a second Battle Gate.  You’ll find it in the cave next to Rapunzel’s tower. Rewards are the Aero Cufflink and Secret Report 7.

Battle Gate 8:  When in Monstropolis look out for the Battle Gate orb in the Tank Yard. Completing will give you the following rewards: Illusory Crystal, Secret Report 8.

Battle Gate 9:  Ice Labyrinth has a Battle Gate.  It’s located at the bottom of the elevator. Rewards for completing this Battle Gate are the Evanescent Crystal and Secret Report 9.

Battle Gate 10:  You’ll find a Battle Gate in the Caribbean.  You’ll need to look in the cave. Rewards for completion:  Water Cufflink and Secret Report 10

Battle Gate 11:  San Fransokyo has multiple Battle Gates.  The first is at the entrance to the tunnel on west side of the map. Completing this will give you Ying-Yang Cufflink and Secret Report 11.

Battle Gate 12:  The second San Fransokyo Battle Gate is located on the bank helipad.  Completing this will give you the Blizzard Cufflink and Secret Report 12.

Battle Gate 13:  There are multiple Battle Gates in the Keyblade Graveyard as well.  The first is located south of the wasteland. Beating this challenge will give you the Celestriad and Secret Report 13.

Battle Gate 14:  The second Battle Gate in the Keyblade Graveyard is located in the large wasteland area. Rewards for completion: Crystal Regalia and Secret Report 14.
